The industry-first Morgana SFT delivers two functions in one – booklet Square folding and trimming. Simply insert a stapled and folded booklet and out comes a professionally finished document – with the sharp squarefold spine and trimmed front edge.
Operator Assisted
Three-Side Trimming Not all customers have access to a guillotine or the time to use one for short run jobs. The SFT module can also process booklets for bleed trimming book by book in an operator assisted process. Full bleed booklets are now an option for small CRD’s or office installations.
The look of a Perfect Bound book
The module is equipped with the heavy-duty SquareFold module you find in our larger Booklet Making Systems. This enables booklets made from a wide variety of paper stocks and sizes to have a perfectly formed spine. It also makes the booklets easier to stack. The result is the look and feel of a Perfect Bound book – At a fraction of the cost.
Wide application range
The Morgana SFT has an incredible booklet compatibility ranging by size from A6, through A4 landscape books, all the way to 320 by 310 millimeters. It processes up to 50 sheets of 80 gsm paper stock. Getting professional results from your existing staple-and-fold finisher has never been easier.
