Morgana Aerocut X Pro
The AeroCut X Pro is the latest in Morgana’s range of multifunction finishing devices, designed to automate the key finishing processes in one simple to operate, compact machine. The machine is a highly accurate slitter, cutter and creasing device, that can take your oversized stock up to 370mm x 750mm from a digital or litho press and deliver a wide range of finished documents. It can also perforate stocks both across and along feeding direction. The Cross perforation unit enables the machine to perforate sheets across feeding direction, both strike and partial perforation. The jump perforation unit includes 2 perfing wheels, this enables the machine to perforate sheets along feeding direction, both full length and with jump perforation.
The AeroCut X Pro features 2 single blade slitters to trim the top and bottom margins from the sheets, 2 double blade slitters remove the bleed from the centre gutters and deflect wastes into a waste bin. The durable self sharpening guillotine cuts stocks up to 400gsm.
The AeroCut X Pro’s air-suction top feed system feeds, precisely and without damage, a variety of weight and quality of stock one-by-one from the top of the ream. The feed tray has a stacking capacity of 100mm.
The AeroCut X Pro is an ideal solution for finishing especially for short-run digitally printed applications such as business cards, cutting 16,000 standard cards per hour and 7,000 post cards per hour. It will also cut invitations, greeting cards, leaflets, tickets and much more. A bar code reader gives the machine the capability to read a barcode for job changing and to prevent errors.
The AeroCut X Pro has detachable rollers, not only making cleaning easy, but gives better access to components in case of a paper jam.
Options:
Waste Delivery Conveyor: Deliver paper strips into a waste bin. An operator may empty the waste bin less often.
Business Card Slitter Unit: Allows the machine to slit and cut 25up full-bleed business cards out of a SRA3 sheet.
Feed Table Extension: Enables the machine to feed longer sheets, up to 1,200mm. Ionizer (feeder): Prevents double feeds and mis-feeds at feeding unit.
Standard Delivery Tray: A standard delivery tray capable to stack finished products up to 750mm in length. Optional for the complete package.
