The Matrix MX 370P Pneumatic is a high-performance laminator that is ideal for custom digital prints. It offers double-sided lamination, allowing users to laminate up to SRA3 size, with a maximum sheet width of 420 mm. With its semi-automatic feeder and quick set-up time, it can laminate at speeds of up to 10 metres per minute. Additionally, its built-in separator ensures that the finished product can be easily removed and ready for guillotining. The Matrix also features side lays that ensure prints are centred while laminating and has an automatic sheet register and overlap system via front guards. It is suitable for both traditional offset printing and digital printing and can handle 25-42 micron films and paper thicknesses of 135 gsm or higher. An optional foiling unit is available for the pneumatic model, allowing users to produce special effects on their prints such as spot UV style finish with no pressure denting to stock. The Matrix MX 370P Pneumatic offers an efficient and cost-effective way to bring high performance lamination in-house.
The Matrix Pneumatic can run up to twice the speed of our standard systems. Printers can laminate work even faster to get the job finished and back to the customer.
Pneumatic pressure rollers allow you to laminate certain substrates up to 50% quicker, saving both time and cost. The Matrix can be purchased as a complete system, or as a modular retrofit for the multilingual MX-370 and MX-530.
The Pneumatic option is produced in Britain which shortens our supply chains and lead times. We’ve used the highest quality components within the systems, including Omron switches, Schneider electrics and British-built Bambi compressors.
