The Ideal 4850 offers both electro-mechanical drive of the cutting blade and auto clamping in a simple to operate guillotine that comes on its own stand. LED lights produce a highly visible cutting line while hand positioning of the back gauge is controlled through a precision digital scale and spindle drive. Ideal’s safety cutting system is employed to ensure absolute reliability in cutting. Side lays ensure even the smallest piles are positioned exactly for cutting. The Ideal 4850 covers a range from 475 mm cutting length to 30 mm and with an 80 mm maximum cutting height.
Powered guillotine with automatic clamping offers a productive machine with highly accurate positioning of paper thanks to illuminated cutting lines, adds up to a productive package that is simple to operate with a low training requirement. The clamping and cutting action produce a professional finish making the Ideal 4850 good for short run quality print work.
Safety first operation with transparent hoods which lock during the cutting process, does not impinge on loading the Ideal 4850 because the hood swings away for ease of access. The illuminated cutting line provides reassurance that the back gauge is set correctly. This is positioned according to an easy to read digital measuring scale located on the front table. Blade height adjustment and cutting stick removal are from the side of the machine, eliminating any risk from the blade itself. Blade removal is safe and simple thanks to a dedicated tool that sheaths the blade during the switch over process.
